I'm very glad I contracted with Kurt to perform my home inspection. He performed a thorough inspection that uncovered things that are beneficial for me to be aware of. He also pointed out good aspects of the home, rather than just focusing on the negative. He explained certain things related to the water, heating, electrical and plumbing. In one of two cases when he didn't know something, or wasn't sure, he said it would be best to seek the advise of a professional. These were instances involving things he couldn't be expected to know, as opposed to a lack of knowledge. He took the time to answer all questions, and he gave some advise related to repairs and remodeling. I wasn't pleased with certain aspects of the procedure. I opted out of buying the house because there wasn't enough information. 1. The oil drum was blocked with the homeowners personal belongings. I feel the realtor should have been given the opportunity to call the homeowner for removal. Also no attic inspection due to not knowing where it was located.

He's friendly, informative, thorough, attentive, professional, and leaves no stone unturned. He's very detail oriented. I love the way he breaks down the problem areas in plain English, and also notes which areas of the home are maintained beautifully. Kurtis offers many other services that will prove to be beneficial for me and my husband, as far as keeping our new home in top shape. I can't recommend Kurtis more highly. I tried a different inspection company with my previous, recent contract that "fell through". Even though the other inspector found some major plumbing issues that were not disclosed by the seller, this other inspector was rude, condescending, and didn't even take the time to photograph the house.
